I’m Going to be Spending a Lot More Time on Quora
I got re-excited about Quora.com this week and decided to start making a habit of participating in that community. While it’s a cool idea and is fun, I also find that answering people’s questions about my areas of expertise (SEO, Web Development, etc) helps me cement my own ideas and beliefs. It’s easy to take certain pieces of information for granted, but if someone’s asking me for knowledge and I’m stepping in as the “expert”, it really makes me stop and ponder if I really have the right answer. It’s often said that if you can’t explain a concept clearly to someone else, you don’t understand it. So thanks, Quora, for helping make me more awesome and knowledgable.

Don’t Forget About Movember
Yeah, I have an epic hipster ‘stache. My wife thinks it’s awful but we have an agreement for the month. I’m raising money for cancer research and awareness campaigns. Learn more about it here and if you donate $1 (or more) I’ll hook you up with a free backlink from my site.
And I Found a Thing!
I found this sweet infographic today about 2011 Black Friday vs Cyber Monday Trends and found out that a lot of stores are just pushing their regular discounts as special Black Friday deals. Nice one, jerks. Also, turns out ordering gifts online is going to save you a lot more money. Still don’t know what I was thinking spending all night waiting outside of Target last year.
