A week or so ago, I realized I’d been completely negligent of my bamboo plant for what must have been quite a while; its cube had been dry for some time. I refilled its water immediately, but after a few more days, I came into the office and found it in a truly gruesome and pitiful state (left).
My wife (then girlfriend) got me this bamboo plant back when I first got into the SEO game. I’m pretty sure if it dies, all my clients’ websites are going to implode.
I performed an emergency procedure this morning to save my bamboo plant’s life. I took it out of its cube, cut off the dead (infected?) parts, washed out the cube and its marbles, carefully trimmed up the good parts and replanted it, and finally filled the cube with filtered water.
It’s looking pretty okay now. I’ll be monitoring it.
