So, I stayed up way too late working on the theme for mikearnesen.com. I think I like what I have at this point, I just haven’t done any work for cross-browser compatibility. If you want to check out how it’ll eventually look, try the latest version of Chrome. It looks hot in that!
My latest coding project has been taking up all of my free time lately. Honestly though, that’s not a whole lot of time. I’m typically super busy and my free time consists of
- my morning light rail commute to downtown (about 45 minutes)
- my evening light rail commute home (about 45 minutes)
- any time I can carve out by staying up late or getting up early (about 30 minutes)

I just put up a blog post at SwellPath Interactive (Sickest SEO agency in Portland). The post, called The Rumors of SEO’s Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated, is an argument against the claims that SEO is dead. My friend @robertcheeke asked me what I thought of Gary Vaynerchuck saying that SEO is dead. I told Robert I’d blog about it for him and thusly was this blog post born. Let me know what you think!
Within the past five years, I’ve probably written a blog post starting with, “so this is my new blog” at least eight times.
